Obituary for Billy Joe Kincaid Jr.

Billy Joe Kincaid Jr.
Billy Joe Kincaid, (Bill) Jr., 51 of Central Harrisburg, Arkansas passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 25, 2023 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was 5 days away from his 52nd birthday that he loved sharing with his grandson Westen Kincaid.

Bill Jr., was born to Billy Kincaid Sr., and Pamela (Western) Kincaid on March 30, 1971 in Rochester, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his Dad, Billy Joe Kincaid, Sr., in the year 2000 at the age of 52.

Bill was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist church. My dad lived such a peaceful, quiet country life out on the ridge. Thanks to him and four wheelers, my daddy showed me all around and over that ridge. He was happy and content. Fishing was 10/10 his favorite outdoor hobby. My daddy enjoyed music. No matter the Genre. Conway Twitty, Hank Williams Jr., Goerge Strait, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Jelly Roll, Upchurch, AC/DC, Elvis Presley, Cardi B. You really just had to know my daddy. His favorite sayings he’d say was “All day, everyday!” Family meant a lot to him.

He is survived by his mother PK and step father Marty Adams of Iowa City, Iowa. One and only brother Steve (Jamie) Kincaid, and his favorite nephew Xander Kincaid, all of Central Harrisburg Arkansas. Bill leaves behind his three beautiful daughters. Courtney Simpson of Kentucky, Lauren Kincaid (Big baby) and his (baby girl) Brittney Kincaid both of Trumann Arkansas. Bill’s daughters was his whole life. Together they gave him 13 grandchildren.

Bill loved being a Papaw and together his daughters blessed him with eight grandsons and four granddaughters. Braydon Passmore, Lawson Kincaid, Kyler Simpson,Westen Kincaid, Blakeston Kincaid, Keizer Eaton, Brenlee Simpson, Madilynn Simpson, Kennedy Thompson, and Karleigh Eaton.

His grandsons Lawson, Westen, and Blakeston loved staying over at their Papaw’s watching their favorite shows and eating snacks. His grands were the light of his life.

This year would make ten years since Bills “Great Fall” that changed his life completely. He suffered life threatening injuries, caused from free falling 12-15 feet on a construction job site. His body hit the concrete at great force. He was life-flight to the Med in Memphis, Tennessee. Where he stayed 8 almost 9 months to recover. That fall impacted Bills mobility and life drastically. Billy Jr had a heart of Gold. He most definitely was one in a million and to have known him was to love him. He would help anyone he could.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 4, 2023 at Jackson’s Funeral Home stateroom from 1:00pm until service time. Funeral service will be Graveside at Willis Cemetery at 2:00pm.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Wilson, Kelly Bishop, Jeramy Carter, and Xander Kincaid. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral home.

No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. Your time here was too brief, but you made a lasting impression on us all. Rest in peace Son, brother, father, uncle, and friend! Never Goodbye, I’ll see you later.
