Carol  Crider
Mrs. Carol (Richardson) Crider of Swifton, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the age of 88. She was born January 4, 1934 in Swifton, Arkansas, the daughter of Van and Julia (Gray) Richardson.
Mrs. Crider was a lifelong resident of Swifton. She was a homemaker, who, in her later years, volunteered as a Grandparent at Swifton Elementary School. Mrs. Crider was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, and loved to cook meals for her family.
She was a dedicated member of the Swifton Church of Christ.
Mrs. Crider was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Kenneth Crider; one daughter, Jaquita Rowlett; two brothers, Gray and Robert Richardson; four sisters, Inice Wright, Cora Hutchins, Clarice Matthews, and Joan House Fullerton; and her parents.
She is survived by one son, Kenny Crider and wife, Debbie of Swifton; one daughter, Tamara Blankley and husband, Randall, of Swifton; her son-in-law, Bobby Rowlett of Memphis, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Jennifer Warne and husband, Josh, of Germantown, Tennessee, Jonathan Blankley and wife, Debra of Haskell, Arkansas, Stacy Wilbanks and husband, Gunnar of Valley View, Mandy Walker and husband, John of Tuckerman, Kenneth Rowlett and wife, Beth of Eades, Tennessee, and Craig Crider and wife, Tera, of Swifton; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Francis Crawley and husband, Horace of Benton; several nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Thursday, July 7, 2022, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, at Swifton Church of Christ, with interment at Swifton Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Kenneth Rowlett, Craig Crider, Jonathan Blankley, Atlas Wilbanks, Josh Warne, Gunnar Wilbanks, and John Walker. Honorary pallbearers are Odean Templeton, Jay Hartsell, and the Swifton Church of Christ Ladies Bible Study Class.
