Mrs. Carolyn Jean (Sutterfield) Morgan of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the age of 70. She was born October 12, 1952 in Newport, the daughter of Carl and Helen (Kemp) Sutterfield.
Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker, and a devoted attendee of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, who enjoyed cooking. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, and water skiing. Mrs. Morgan especially loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Sutterfield; and one brother, Mickey Sutterfield.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by her husband, Thomas Andrew Morgan of Tuckerman; her mother, Helen (Kemp) Gower of Judsonia; two sons, Chris Morgan and wife, Rachelle of Swifton, and Michael Morgan and fiancé, Amanda Lacy of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Connor Morgan, Averie Morgan, Addyson Morgan, and Alora Presley; two brothers, Carl Douglas Sutterfield and wife, Gail of Bradford, and Keith Sutterfield and wife, Tina of Lonoke; one sister, Helen Ruth Smith of Newport; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Watson Cemetery with Bro. David Burgess officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Brian Watson, Gary Easter, Ronnie Strange, Kenny Bowen, Sammy Bowen, and Chris Ledbetter.
