Obituary for Charles Brian "Woody" Mathis

Mr. Charles Brian “Woody” Mathis, 55, of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Saturday, August 27, 2022 at St Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born February 17, 1967 in Trumann, Arkansas the son of Charles and Harriet (Balentine) Mathis. Brian married Sherry Partain and they have enjoyed three years together. He works at M C Express as a Diesel Trailer Mechanic. Brian enjoyed fishing, going to the creek in Mountain View, and spending time with his family and friends. Brian is survived by his parents: Charles and Harriet Mathis of Harrisburg, his wife, Sherry (Partain) Mathis also of Harrisburg, one son, Tyler Mathis of Little Rock, Arkansas, one daughter Kara (Wesley) Poore of Paragould, Arkansas, two brothers: Tommy Mathis and Jason Mathis of Harrisburg, one granddaughter, Madison “Little M” Poore also of Paragould, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday ~ August 30 at 10:00 A. M. until Service Time at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Service Time will be at 11:00 A. M. with Bro. Paul Clark. These men will serve as Active Pallbearers: Jesse Howard, James Davis, Bobby Black, Ricky Dews, Ronnie Dillinger, and Rod Parks. Interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
