Obituary for Charlotte Knight

Charlotte  Knight
Mrs. Charlotte Yvonne Webb Knight of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the age of 59. She was born February 20, 1964, in San Diego, California, the daughter of Max Harold and Clariece (Newlin) Webb.

Mrs. Knight was a member of the Newport Greyhound class of 1982 where she played the flute in the band and was a Majorette until she moved and graduated from Newark High School. She worked for twenty three years as an aide for Castleberry and Newport Elementary Schools. She also worked for Health South. Mrs. Knight was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church where she enjoyed working in the nursery with children. Her hobbies included photography and making ceramics, an activity she enjoyed with her mother and grandmother. Most importantly, she loved her family and the time spent with her children and grandchildren. They were her life.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her mother, Clariece (Newlin) Webb; and one sister, Carolyn Colene (Webb) King.

She is survived by her husband Mike Knight; three sons, Travis Knight, and wife Amanda, of Jonesboro, Cody Knight of Newport, and Dustin Knight of Jonesboro; her father, Max Harold Webb of Newport; one brother, Chad Harold Webb, and wife, Brittanie, of Rosie; five grandchildren, Jaxson William Knight, Stormy Knight, Dawson Knight, Max Knight, and Eleanor Knight; her mother in law, Norma Knight of Bradford; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Sunday evening, 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services are 3:00 p.m. Monday at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following in Smith Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Michael Knight, Travis Knight, Cody Knight, Dustin Knight, Chad Webb, Jaxon Shelton, Billy Whitehead, and Robbie Patterson.
