Obituary for Dan Leonard
Mr. Daniel W. Leonard of Little Rock, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, March 19, 2021, at the age of 82. He was born January 5, 1939 in Magness, Arkansas, the son of Winfred and Mayme (Woodson) Leonard.
Mr. Leonard grew up on a small family cattle farm in Independence County. He enjoyed taking care of his yard, and keeping things neat. Mr. Leonard was a beloved member of his hometown, returning yearly to assist with clean up days at Macedonia Cemetery. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Leonard was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalee (Goff) Leonard; one brother, Billy Leonard; and his parents.
He is survived by two nephews, Mark Goff and Brian Goff and wife, Sheila; other family members; and a lifetime of friends.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Macedonia Cemetery with Mr. Dale Brown officiating.
The Leonard family requests memorials be made to the Paragould Children’s Home, 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450, or Geyer Springs Church of Christ, 6004 W. 53rd Street, Little Rock, AR 72209.
Honorary pallbearers are Chad Goff, Patrick Holley, Dylan Goff, George McDoniel, and Jerry Millspaugh.
