Obituary for Daniel Rex Chism

Mr. Daniel Rex Chism, 70 of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Saturday, December 17, 2022 at his residence. He was born May 12, 1952 in Libertyville, Illinois the son of Marvin and Genevia (Easter) Chism. His parents both preceded him in death, his wife, Terri (Smart) Chism, and one brother, Donald Chism. Daniel enjoyed gun smithing, hunting, working his horses, and spending time with family and friends. Daniel worked 30 years for Poinsett County Road crew before retiring. He served his country in the United States Army, serving part of his time in Germany. He is survived by two sons: Nathaniel Chism of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Howard Chism of Bowling Green, Ohio, one daughter Danielle (Chism) Yancey also of Harrisburg, one brother, Mitch Chism of Sardis, Mississippi, three sisters: Judy Moondy, Gail Chism and Annette Baldwin, four grandchildren: Jake Chism, Kirs Chism, Brandon Bellinger, and Garrett Bellinger, one great-grandchild, Mickey Bellinger. Following Cremation there will be a Memorial Service at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery time and date will be announced later. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
