Obituary for Dottie Sue Pannell (Peck)

Dottie Sue  Pannell (Peck)
Dottie Sue (Peck) Pannell, 84, of Harrisburg, Arkansas put up a good fight to the end, but the Lord called her to her heavenly home Thursday, January 21, 2021 at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born January 2, 1937 in Whitaker, Arkansas the daughter of Lee and Willie (Brown) Peck. Dottie Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Collins Pannell in 1989, one infant son, Randy Sweeney, one daughter, LeAnn Pannell, one brother, Jim Peck, and four sisters: Era Jackson, Vera Vail, Juanita Smith, and Mary Nell Pannell. She was a factory worker and worked several years at Poinsett County Jail as Jailer. She is a member of the First Assembly of God in Harrisburg and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Dottie Sue is survived by four sons: Michael Pannell of Salem, Illinois, Russell, Ricky, and Ronald Sweeney all of Harrisburg, one daughter, Lenette Ball of Trumann, one brother, George Peck of Spring Hill, Louisiana, grandchildren: Matonna Sweeney, Michael Sweeney, Aaron Pannell and several others and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Donna Sweeney. Visitation will be Monday, January 25, 2021 at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 until Service Time at 2:00 P. M. Chapel service will be followed by Cremation and internment will take place at later date. Arrangements are Jackson’s Funeral Home
