Condolence From: Jackson's Funeral Homes Family
Condolence: Dear Elliott Family,
We at Jackson’s Funeral Home remember September 13, and the life of Dr. Gary D. Elliott. It is our hope that this quote by Thomas Bailey Aldrich brings you comfort as you remember him today. “What is lovely never dies, but passes into another loveliness, stardust or sea foam, flower or winged air.”
You are in our thoughts,
Jackson’s Funeral Homes Family

Our hearts are heavy for all of you. Gary was an amazing person who brought joy and the gospel to so many. He holds a very special place in our hearts. We look forward to the day when we can all be together again with our loved ones who have gone on before us. May we live a life for God just as Gary did.
God bless you all and fill your hearts with the memories of all the beautiful times you shared with him. We love you all,
Michael, Jill, McKenzie (Reed) and Ethan Wood

Condolence From: Barbara Elkins Hyde
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to you Mrs. Elliott, your children and grandchildren. I was a Harding English major during 1972-'75.
I had many classes with Dr. Elliott during which I learned so much, especially in his Shakespeare course. I remember those classes vividly, and they served me well during the over 35 years I taught high school English. Dr. Elliott's legacy will live on in the classrooms and lives of the multitude of students that he taught.
It is my prayer that God will meet all your needs.
