Obituary for George Ray Keiffer
George Ray Keiffer 85, of Harrisburg departed this life Thursday, November 26, 2020 at St. Bernard Medical Center Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born December 4, 1934 in Weiner, Arkansas the son of Felix and Edna (Page) Keiffer. He married Marcie Jones on December 25, 1953 and enjoyed 60 years of marriage before her passing in 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife: Marcie (Jones) Keiffer, parents: Felix and Edna Keiffer, one son: Mitchell Keiffer, one granddaughter: Cynthia Johnson, several brothers and sisters. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mr. George was a farmer most of his life until he retired. He is survived three son, Ray Keiffer of Tyronza, Ronnie Keiffer of Trumann and Timothy Keiffer of Harrisburg, three daughter, Janice Keiffer of Tyronza, Ruby Floyd of Trumann and Lori Floyd of Trumann, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesaday, December 1, 2020 at Jackson’s Funeral Home from 12:00 until 1:30 P. M. Graveside Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 1, @ 2:00 P. M. at Walker Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Bro. Larry Detheridge and these men and women will serve as active pallbearers: Allen Pennington, Chance Pennington, Steven Gonzales, April Bell, Johnathan Floyd,and Christine Pennington. Honorary pallbearers will be: Laura Henry, Amber Hatcher and Ronnie Keiffer. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home
