Obituary for James Darwin "Jamie" McDaniel
Mr. James Darwin “Jamie” McDaniel, 40, of Harrisburg departed this life Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born October 12, 1980 in Jonesboro, Arkansas the son of James Eddie “Jimmy” and Deletia (Holcomb) McDaniel. Jamie was a Line Leader at FMH Conveyor in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Jamie graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1998, enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Eddie “Jimmy” McDaniel. He is survived by his wife, Christy (Smith) McDaniel of Harrisburg, Mother, Deletia (Holcomb) McDaniel also of Harrisburg, one son, Dalton McDaniel of West Plains, Missouri, one step-son, Cody Neely of Wynne, Arkansas, one daughter, Sidney McDaniel of Wynne, Arkansas, two step-daughters: Miranda Duke of Brookland, Arkansas and Hayden Neely of Wynne, one brother, Shane (Deanna) Holcomb of Harrisburg, one sister, Jessica (Bradley) Hollingsworth also of Harrisburg, and three grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 14, 2021 at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time at 2:00 P. M. These men will serve as pallbearers: Justin Kimble, Jamie Peck, Timmy Morris, Eugene Blackwell, Carl Williams, Kelly Brown, Aaron Easter, and Larry Mason. Interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral
