Obituary for Jeremy David Odom

Jeremy David  Odom
Mr. Jeremy David Odom of Olive Branch, Mississippi, departed this life on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the age of 44. He was born October 17, 1977 in Newport, Arkansas.
Mr. Odom was a graduate of Newport High School, and attended UTI to received a Diesel Mechanic Certification. He was shop foreman at Memphis Light, Gas, and Water the past 18 years. Mr. Odom was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drag racing. He was a sports fan, especially of the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals.
His children were his pride and joy. Mr. Odom always took the best care of them, and spent time coaching and supporting them in any sport they participated in.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Michael David and Kathy (Barker) Odom of Diaz; his mother, Lisa Franks of Tuckerman; one son, Jeremy David “Bubba” Odom, Jr. of Olive Branch, three daughters, Abreanna “Bree” Odom of El Paso, Texas, Trinity Odom, Addison Odom, and Ariona Clark, all of Olive Branch; one brother, Colby Hensley and fiancé, Mary Rachael Baker of Newport; three sisters, Brandy Tally and husband, Will, Amy Odom, and Amber Clark and husband, Zachary, all of Newport; and a lifetime of friends.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
