John Wayne Calaway, 55, Revere, MA formerly of Bay Village went to be with the Lord on Sunday January 3, 2021 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born October 15, 1965 in Forrest City, Arkansas the son of John Wayne Sr and Jean Calaway. His father preceded him in death and also his brother, Homer Ray Calaway. John served his country in the United States Army from 1984~1988. He is of the Assembly of God Faith, enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, and spending time with family and friends. John worked with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Local 1516 as Journeyman Inside Wireman Electrician. He is survived by his wife, Gina (DeVito) Calaway of Revere, MA., step-dad, Sam Wood and mother, Jean (Harris) Wood of Bay Village, one son, Daniel DeVito of Revere, MA, two daughters: Leanne (Steve) Lyon of Lynn, MA, and Meghan (Eddie) Carson of Memphis, TN, 3 grandchildren: Ryleigh Lyon, Maci Carson and Grayson Carson, one Aunt Dollie Griffin of Harrisburg, several cousins, two nieces: Lauren Calaway and Leah Nichole Calaway. Visitation will be at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home Saturday ~ January 9, 2021 from 12:00 until Service Time. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 P. M. at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Bay Village Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Ashley will conduct the service. Arrangements are Jackson’s Funeral Home
