Obituary for John H. Shutt, Jr.
Mr. John H. Shutt, Jr. of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, March 12, 2021, at the age of 68. He was born March 1, 1953 at Kennett, Missouri, the son of John and Alma Dean (Roy) Shutt.
Mr. Shutt was a graduate of Newark High School. Mr. Shutt had been a factory worker most of his life. He loved guns and watching westerns. Mr. Shutt was an avid reader and animal lover.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Joddie Shutt.
Mr. Shutt is survived by four sisters, Gail Kent and husband, Bobby, of Sulphur Rock, Vickey Layne and husband, Michael, of Melbourne, Susan Shutt of Sulphur Rock, and Brenda Piety and husband, Ralph, of Floral; numerous nieces and nephews; one special niece, Rhonda Duncan; and a lifetime of friends.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements by Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home.
