Mrs. Katherine (Pounders) Plessingers, 80 of Harrisburg, Arkansas was called to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at her residence. She was born May 18, 1942 in Wynne, Arkansas. Her father, William Pounders, step-father, James Freeman, and mother, Elsie Freeman preceded her in death. Kathy’s husband Mr. Don Plessinger also preceded her in death, two brothers: Larry Freeman, Tommy Freeman, four sisters: Patsy Pounders, Karen Crawford, Ginger Moore, and Louise Freeman. Kathy Sue worked many adult years as Bookkeeper and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro. She enjoyed fishing, flowers, gardening, cooking, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by two sons: Paul (Brenda) Plessinger of Munford, Tennessee and Jimmy (Lynn) Plessinger of Coats, NC, one daughter, Cathy (Mark) Miller of Corpus Christi, Texas, one brother, Jerry (Judy) Freeman of Little Rock, Arkansas. A Memorial Service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 1107 E. Highland Drive in Jonesboro, Arkansas at 10:00 A. M. Monday March 13, 2023. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home
