Mr. Kyle Robert Simmons of Hoxie, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the age of 30. He was born August 4, 1992 in Jonesboro, the son of Nathanuel “Tex” Lee Simmons and Patty Michele (Butler) Simmons.

Kyle was a graduate of Tuckerman High School, where he enjoyed learning about technology, and was part of the Robotics Club. He was an avid player of video games, and a huge fan of music. Most of all, he loved being an uncle to his niece, Jordyn.

Kyle was preceded in death by his mother, Michele (Butler) Simmons; and his nephew, Kalleb Newberry.

He is survived by his father, Nathanuel “Tex” Simmons of Hoxie; one brother, Tyler Simmons of Jonesboro; one sister, Haley Simmons of Tuckerman; his niece, Jordyn Simmons of Tuckerman; his grandmother, Kathy Simmons of Tuckerman; several aunts, uncles, and a lifetime of friends.

Memorial visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until noon, Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home.
