Liddie Mae  Smith
Mrs. Liddie Mae Smith, 68 of Tyronza, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday ~ September 22, 2022 at NEA Medical Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on June 21, 1954 in Lepanto, Arkansas the daughter of Tine and Zelma (Jones) Smith. Liddie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Lynn Smith Sr., two sons: Joshua Shane and Cheyenne Dakota Smith, two brothers: William and Alvie Smith and one sister, Edna Jackson. She was a retired school teacher and of the Baptist faith. Liddie enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. Liddie is survived by one son, Donald Lynn (Cindy) Smith Jr. of Rector, Arkansas, five daughters: Heather Whittemore (Charlie) of Proctor, Arkansas, Samantha (Doug) Jenkins of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Tara Gibbs of Tyronza, Arkansas, Peyton (E. J.) Roach of Trumann, and Hillary (J. T. Timbs) Rodgers of Bentonville, Arkansas, eight grandchildren: Courtney~Jean Guy, Dalton Cassels, Gage Cassels, Bradley Dwyer, Jayce Dwyer, Evan Roach, Ella Jo Roach, Jack Timbs, and one great-grandson Charlie Tate Guy is expected in a few days. The family will host a Memorial Service on Monday September 26, 2022 @ 11:00 A. M. at Trinity Baptist Church in Marked Tree, Arkansas visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 service time. Bro. Rick Kimery will conduct the service. Memorials may be sent to: Disabled Veterans Association 2200 Fort Roots Dr. #65 North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114 The Family will conduct a private burial in Marked Tree Cemetery following the service. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
