She never felt old~ even at 97 and still made plans like she had all the time in the world. Lois was a mother, sister, a daughter, a friend, a mentor and was able to enjoy her status as a great-great grandmother. She was also a talented artist, a poet, and a writer of children’s stories, a quilter who made beautiful quilts that she often gave as gifts to family and friends, a gardener who loved her flowers and nurtured them to produce beautiful blooms and was a wonderful cook. Lois was fearless, independent, loving, and passionate about caring for family and friends.
