Obituary for Lola Malone

Lola  Malone
Ms. Lola Faye (James) Malone of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the age of 82. She was born September 28, 1938 in Tuckerman, the daughter of Ira Franklin and Lola Gertrude (McLaughlin) James.
Ms. Malone was a graduate of Grubbs High School, and of the Baptist belief. She was a spitfire, always on the go, and had an incredible work ethic. Ms. Malone worked 10 years at Amtrak as a hostess, followed by several years at a local steel mill. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning, and working in her yard. Ms. Malone was very particular about maintaining her yard, and spent much time making sure it was perfect. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Ms. Malone was preceded in death by one son, Sammy T. Malone, Jr.; one brother, Otho Franklin James; one sister, Ira Sue Lucas; and her parents.
She is survived by one son, Benny Malone and wife, Lisa, of Tuckerman; one daughter, Debra Nunemaker and husband, Danny, of Tuckerman; one step-son, Brian Malone of Old Glaise; four grandchildren, Cody Malone, Craig Nunemaker, Brandi Johnson, and D.J. Johnson; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Luke Nunemaker.
Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2021. at Dowell’s Chapel Cemetery.
