Obituary for Marcus Roberts

Marcus  Roberts
Mr. Marcus Henry Roberts of Newark, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022, at the age of 87. He was born March 6, 1934 in Batesville, the son of William Henry and Pearl Elizabeth (Chinn) Roberts.
Mr. Roberts was a retired self-employed dairy farmer. He was a member of the Newark Church of Christ. Mr. Roberts was a high school graduate of Cave City. He served in the U. S. Navy. He enjoyed doing mechanical work on cars, playing the guitar, and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-eight years, Betty Lou (Sanders) Roberts; two brothers, Kenneth Roberts and Billy Wayne Roberts; and his parents.
Mr. Roberts is survived by one son, Rick Roberts and wife, Cindi, of Mulberry, two daughters, Glenda Hill of Newark and Joquita Brown and husband, Brian, of Van Buren; three sisters, Juanita Medley, Fanitta Medley, and Nellie Barnett; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; nephew, Dennis Roberts of Batesville, and a lifetime of friends,
Friends may visit at the Newark Church of Christ, 1:00 p.m. Monday until 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Marcus Brown, Ricky Roberts, Blake Edgar, Josh Newcomb, Shane Brooks, and Kevin Sanders. Honorary pallbearer will be Kyle Roberts.
