Obituary for Mildred Woodard (Dix)
Mildred (Dix) Woodard, 90, of Jonesboro, Arkansas departed this life Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Springs of Jonesboro. She was born March 21, 1930 in Cowlake, Arkansas the daughter of Ira and Nora (Williamson) Dix. Her parents preceded her in death, also one son, Roy Woodard, two sisters: Blanche Williams and Vera Dewitt. She is a homemaker, of the Baptist belief, enjoyed flowers, care taking, and spending time with family and friends. Mildred is survived by two sons: Larrie Woodard of Jonesboro and Bradley Woodard of Harrisburg, one daughter, Reba Tackett of Jonesboro, one half-brother, James Dix, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be Thursday February 25 at Jackson’s Funeral Home at 2:00 P. M. with visitation from 1:00 until Service time. These men will serve as active pallbearers: Justin Little, Jered Little, Coty Collins, Zack Collins, Jerry Collins, and Landen Potter. Interment will be in Mt Pisgah Cemetery following the service. Arrangements are Jackson’s Funeral Home
