Milton Jordan, 89 of Swifton, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Mr. Jordan was born September 12, 1932 in Swifton, the son of Sam and Addie (Shirley) Jordan. He was a graduate of Swifton High School, and married his high school sweetheart, Laverne Thompson Jordan and they spent 70 years together.
Mr. Jordan was a retired farmer, and avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed cooking for his family and talking with the guys at the coffee shop. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and family and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Addie Jordan; and grandmother, Ida (Ma) Jordan, and infant son.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laverne; his children, Lana Bowen and husband, Sammy, of Swifton, Randy Jordan and wife, Ellen, of Swifton; one grandson, Bob Mitchell of Swifton; four great grandchildren, who called him Puddin, Anna Claire, Holden, Hudson, and Hayes Mitchell of Jonesboro.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends who love him.
