Obituary for Patricia Haner
Mrs. Patricia (McClure) Haner of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at the age of 75. She was born July 21, 1945 in Tuckerman, the daughter of Andrew Franklin and Aline (Pilgram) McClure.
Mrs. Haner was a homemaker, and a self-employed interior designer. She enjoyed traveling to Branson, decorating, and doing yard work. Mrs. Haner loved to shop, especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a kind, sweet soul, who had a generous, giving heart. You never left her house that she didn’t give you something on your way out.
Mrs. Haner was a minister’s wife, and a good Christian lady, who loved the Lord and her family. She taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church of Jonesboro.
Mrs. Haner was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Tyler Fletcher; six brothers, Clyde, Lavern, Julius, Andy, J.D., and J.C. McClure; and three sisters, Carol Thornton, Inez, and Emma Jean.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Haner of the home; two daughters, Pam Haner Breckenridge and Linda Haner Fletcher; one sister, Evelyn Tidmore; four grandchildren, Adam Breckenridge, Syndal Cook, Josh Fletcher, and Jason Breckenridge; her great-grandchildren, Zackary Breckenridge, Madison Fletcher, Ryder Cook, Mylee Jo Cook, Lucy Breckenridge, Susanna Breckenridge, and Georgie Breckenridge; many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Sunday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2021 at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following in Gracelawn Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Zackary Breckenridge, Anthony Gates, Josh Fletcher, John O. Casteel, Adam Breckenridge, and Lance Ritter. Honorary pallbearers are Bro. Adrian Parker, Bro, Earl Saunders, Matt Rutherford, Joe Whitman, and Danny Haner.
