Obituary for Robert Lee Gillihan

Mr. Robert Lee Gillihan, 74 of Rector, Arkansas formerly of Weiner, Arkansas departed this life February 20, 2023 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Arkansas. He was born July 10, 1948 in Batesville, Arkansas the son of Earl and Eva (Veach) Gillihan and they preceded him in death. Robert was also preceded by two sisters: Ann and Elsie, and two brothers: Johnny and Lawerence Gillihan. He worked for Cullum Seed in Waldenburg for several years and before that, Robert worked with Mr. Walter Wright on the farm. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. Robert was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by two brothers: Bobby Clowers of Williamsville, Missouri and Tommy Clowers of Maraduke, Arkansas, and one sister, Eva Welch of Grove, OK. Visitation is Thursday February 23, 2023 at Providence Baptist Missionary Church in Lafe, Arkansas from 12:00 until service time at 2:00 P. M. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 P. M. Bro. Mike Hoggard will conduct the service. Family will serve as active pallbearers. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home.
