Obituary for Roger Jones
Mr. Roger Dale Jones of Weiner, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the age of 62. He was born June 15, 1960, in Newport, the son of Elias Patrick Jones and Delores Ynell “Dee” Williams Jones.
Mr. Jones was a high school graduate of Weiner High School. He was baptized in 2018 at Midway Church of Christ and he attended a Home Church in Remmel. He worked as a Loader Operator at Helena Chemical.
Mr. Jones was an avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, trail riding on side by sides, and sitting around a bonfire. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving dog, Mack; three brothers, Tommy Jones and wife Teresa, of Weiner, Farrell Jones and wife Tammy, of Weiner, and David Jones and wife Debbie, of Jonesboro; one sister, Teri Johnson and husband Tony, of Fisher; a host of nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Visitation is Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. David Howard officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are Mr. Jones’ Helena Chemical co-workers, Rob and Jennifer Bradley, Johnny Drope, Dave McAlister, and Wes Campbell.
