Virginia  Reynolds
Mrs. Virginia (Seigriest) Reynolds of Texarkana, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, January 24, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born September 8, 1948 in Newport, the daughter of Bill and Mary (Osborne) Seigriest.
Mrs. Reynolds was a graduate of Bradford High School. On August 25, 1967, she was married to Mr. Boyd Reynolds, and together they spent 53 years. Mrs. Reynolds built her life around her family. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her very heart. Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. All hobbies that began with her desire to spend time with her family doing what they loved. The ultimate “boy mom”, Mrs. Reynolds spent many an hour at deer camp making memories with her three sons.
She was also an accomplished cook, who used her gift at family gatherings to insure that everyone had something they loved. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Alma Seigriest; and her sister, Ruth Fowler.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Boyd Reynolds, of the home; three sons, Deon Reynolds and wife, Melissa, Bart Reynolds and wife, Elysia Saenz Reynolds, and Keelyn Reynolds and wife Jammie Poole, all of Texarkana; her grandchildren, Samantha Reynolds, Sydney Reynolds, Justin Williams, Brittany Knight and husband, Jackson, Haley Cutchall and husband, Austin, Kellsie Reynolds, Kourtnee Reynolds, Kezzlie Reynolds, Tyler Reynolds, Trent Reynolds, Taylor Kidd, Kayla Fawcett, Kayla Mallett Riley, Nathan Mallett, and Robert Mallett; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Seigriest and wife, Donna, and Larry Seigriest and wife, Dionette; one sister, Carolyn Hayslip and husband, Charles; her canine companion, Muffy; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Monday, 6:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Carl Burruss officiating. Interment will follow at Coffeyville Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Deon Reynolds, Bart Reynolds, Keelyn Reynolds, Jackson Knight, Austin Cutchall, Trent Reynolds, and Tyler Reynolds.
