Barbara  Bowen
Ms. Barbara Ann (Lee) Bowen of Beedeville, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the age of 75. She was born September 24, 1946 in Fisher, the daughter of Ruben and Betty Lee.
Ms. Bowen was a 1965 graduate of Beedeville High School. She enjoyed reading, sewing, completing word search puzzles, yard work, and raising flowers. Ms. Bowen was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Arkansas Razorback fan. She especially loved spending time with and cooking for her family.
Ms. Bowen worked as a medical secretary for Attention Medical Supply, and was a member of the Midway Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Ricky James Lee.
Ms. Bowen is survived by two sons, Russell Lee Beshears and wife, Debra of McCrory, and Randall Allan Beshears and wife, Crystal, of Tuckerman; one daughter, Donna Gale Beshears of Conway; six grandchildren, Kylee Highfill and husband, Houston of Rector, Kirk Beshears of Rector, Ressa Tant and husband, Nick of Grenada, Mississippi, Madison Scudder and Derek White of Beedeville, and Meaghan Beshears of Tuckerman, and Sailor “Andie” Beshears; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Gene Lee and wife, Jane, of Judsonia; two sisters, Betty Vantassel of Judsonia, and Judy Johnson and husband, Thomas, of Searcy; the father of her children, Howard Lee Beshears; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Wednesday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Eightmile Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Shawn Mann, Michael Mann, Eddie Stevens, Jr., David Beshears, Jeffery “Punk” Beshears, Chance Mann, Meaghan Beshears, and B.J. Stevens. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Beshears, William Beshears, and John Beshears.
