Obituary for Bernard N. "Skeeter" Blancato

Bernard N. "Skeeter"  Blancato
Mr. Bernard N. “Skeeter” Blancato, 85, of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Thursday, December 29, 2022 at St. Bernard Medical Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born May 23, 1937 in Keene, New Hampshire the son of Dominick and Adele (Croteau) Blancato. His parents both preceded him in death and one son, Dwight Hulslander, one daughter, Ann Blancato, and two grandchildren. Skeeter retired from Keene Fire Department in Keene, New Hampshire having served as Captian. He is a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisburg, still member of the Italian Club and American Legion Club both in Keene, New Hampshire. Skeeter also served his country in the United States Army and he enjoyed life as a whole, especially spending time with family and friends. Skeeter married June Wesley on April 28, 1967 and they have enjoyed fifty-five years of marriage. He is survived by his wife June of the home in Harrisburg, one son, Tracy Blancato of New Hampshire, three daughters: Laurie Washburn of New Hampshire, Cheryl Harrison of Harrisburg, and Cindy DeLong also of New Hampshire, nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Cremation was Skeeter’s wishes and this is what the family has planned, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
