Obituary for Dewayne Beeler

Dewayne  Beeler
Mr. Dewayne E. Beeler of Oil Trough, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the age of 87. He was born July 11, 1935 at Newport, the son of Samuel V. and Clara Mae (West) Beeler.

Mr. Beeler was a graduate of Oil Trough High School, and was a Veteran of the US Marine Corp Reserves. He retired from Victor Metal after 45 years of service. He was also a lifelong farmer.

Mr. Beeler enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the Cardinals and Gunsmoke, and playing the card game, Pitch, with his family. He was a jokester, who loved making people laugh.

He was a member of the Olyphant Church of Christ.

Mr. Beeler was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, LaJune G. (Stephens) Beeler; two brothers, Samuel Letroy Beeler and Carlon James Beeler; two sisters, Wanda Mae Benish and Lola Davis; and his parents.

He is survived by one son, Bruce Beeler and wife, Melanie of Maple Springs; three daughters, Sonja Pollard of Union Hill, Pam Beeler of Batesville, and Tammy Willis of Ash Flat; one sister, Glenna Gray of Sherwood; six grandchildren, Jessica Garner and husband, Josh, of Rosie, Dylan Rudd of Newport, Tyler Beeler and Tuesdea of Oil Trough, Krysta Cruz and husband, Jeremy of Oil Trough, Bill Willis of Newark, and Blaire Willis of Batesville; eleven great-grandchildren, Sadie, Gracie, Gabbie, Kenzie, Brylee, Hadley, Harrison,
Grayson, Scarlett, Paislee and Rylynn; and a lifetime of friends.

Friends may visit at the funeral home, Thursday evening, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Olyphant Church of Christ with interment in Maple Springs Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Bill Willis, Tyler Beeler, Chuck Benish, Randy Gray, Tim Evridge, and Craig Shirley. Honorary pallbearers are Richie Simmons, Eddie Simmons, Jason Barber, Jeremy Cruz, Josh Garner, and Chad Crabtree.
