Jimmy Rogers , 90, of Springdale, Arkansas departed this life Tuesday, March 16th, 2021, at Edgewood Health and Rehab. He was born to Frank and Alma (Odglen) Rogers. He Married the love of his life Dorothy Smith, in 1949. Jim was drafted into the United States Army during the Korean conflict.

Jimmy Dean was a farmer for over 50 years, this was his passion. He and his family were named Farm Family of the Year 1970 winning both County and District. He loved his two children, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Brig. General Billy F. Rogers; his wife of 61 years, Dorothy; and son Jimmy Douglas "Doug" Rogers.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, DeAnn Proffitt (Mark) of Springdale, Arkansas; grandson, Jeremy Proffitt of Waxahachie, Texas, granddaughter, Charissa Napier (Timmy) of Farmington, Arkansas, Tamyra Proffitt of Springdale, Arkansas; four great grandchildren, Aspen, Khloe, Quinton and Cash Napier of Farmington, Arkansas, and a multitude of nieces and nephews, and friends .
