Obituary for Mary "Terry" Clark

Mrs. Mary “Terry” (Brawley) Clark of Grubbs, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 81. She was born July 19, 1940 at Cotton Plant, the daughter of Christopher Columbus and Ruby Anoine (Pruitt) Brawley.
Mrs. Clark was a graduate of Cotton Plant High School, and a member of Ballew’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
She had worked alongside Melanie at Little People’s Daycare for 12 years, and was also a homemaker. Mrs. Clark enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, gardening, and tending her flower beds. She loved to watch the Hallmark Channel and The Golden Girls. Her greatest joy came from spending time with, and helping raise her grandchildren.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Clois Ray “Pete” Clark; two brothers, Marvin and Carlon Brawley; two sisters, Bertha Brannon and Kathy Reece; and her parents.
She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Holland and husband, Terry, of Swifton, Becky Allen of Newport, and Melanie Runsick and husband, Jason of Jonesboro; one son, Garland Shopher and wife, Trish of Bradford; one sister, Dottie Morris of Panama City, Florida; seven grandchildren, Jerod Holland and wife, Lanell of Swifton, Ryan Holland and wife, Anna of Swifton, Jadyn Pretty and husband, Dustin, of Tuckerman, Rhianna Baughn and husband, Jordan of Tuckerman, Josh Allen and wife, Faith of Grubbs, Kaleb Anschultz of Jonesboro, and Griffin Runsick of Jonesboro; eleven great-grandchildren, Tanner Fuller and husband, Austin of Swifton, Emeri, Easton, and Everleigh Baughn of Tuckerman, Daniel and Delaney Pretty of Tuckerman, Samantha and Lilly Ray Holland of Swifton, Nathaniel and Jensen Allen of Grubbs, and Jacob Chavez of Swifton; one great-great grandson, Saylor Fuller of Swifton; two special lifetime friends, Betty Woodruff of Monterey, Louisiana, and Mary Howard of Heber Springs; numerous nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Thursday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Ballew’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Andy Haskins officiating. Interment will follow at Ballew’s Chapel Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jerod Holland, Ryan Holland, Dustin Pretty, Jordan Baughn, Josh Allen, Kaleb Anschultz, and Griffin Runsick. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Allen, Garland Shopher, Terry Holland, Austin Fuller and Jason Runsick.
