Obituary for Melissa Felts
Mrs. Melissa Ann (Talley) Felts of Greenbrier, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the age of 48. She was born November 13, 1972 in Batesville, the daughter of T.E. and Lois Jean (Holcombe) Talley.
Melissa was a 1991 graduate of Newark High School, where she played softball and basketball. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and had worked in Human Resources at Aramark at UCA in Conway. Melissa enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing sports. Most importantly, she loved time spent with her family.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Joey Felts of the home; one son, Dalton Ty Felts and fiancé, Peyton Daugherty of Conway; one daughter, Mackensie Felts and Andrue Gordon of Conway; her mother, Lois Jean Talley of Newark; two brothers, Michael Talley and wife, Melinda, of Newark, and Jimmy Talley of Newark; eight nieces and nephews; a great-niece and nephew; many other family, and a lifetime of friends.
Family will hold private services at a later date.
Arrangements by Jackson’s Newark Funeral Home.
