Obituary for Mickey Caldwell

Mr. Mickey Caldwell of Weiner, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at the age of 85. He was born October 4, 1935 in Etowah, Arkansas, the son of Edward and Ollie (Hicks) Caldwell.
Mr. Caldwell was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Weiner. He retired from Riceland Foods in Weiner, in the early 1990’s. He then took a job at Engines, Inc., and retired from there. Mr. Caldwell’s greatest job and blessing was that of a husband, father, and grandfather.
He enjoyed playing guitar, working on the small farm he owned, and visiting with family. Mr. Caldwell especially loved sitting on the porch with Phyllis as they watched their grandchildren play.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis (Mross) Caldwell; two sons, Eddie Paul Caldwell and Jimmy Caldwell; two brothers, Ules Caldwell and James O. Caldwell; and his parents.
Mr. Caldwell is survived by one son, David Caldwell and wife, Candace of Weiner; six grandchildren, Jordan Richmond and Shona Bergeron of Bono, David Wood, Tywan Wood, Calisa Wood, and Demarco Wood, all of Weiner; one great grandchild, Liam Bergeron of Bono; two sisters, Marlene Moss of Harrisburg, and Maryline Bolden and husband, Alton, of Harrisburg; nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and a lifetime of friends.
Due to COVID-19, private family services will be held.
Honorary pallbearers are Craig Mross, Jerry Mross, Shelby Mross, Jeffery Mross, Tywan Wood, David Wood, and Demarco Wood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Weiner Fire Department, 101 North Washington, Weiner, Arkansas, 72479 and Walker Cemetery,
