Mrs. Patricia (Easter) King, 71 of Cherokee Village, formerly of Harrisburg departed this life Monday, December 26, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Harrisburg on August 23, 1951 the daughter of Jake and Margaret Isabell (Barron) Easter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Susie Flanigan and one grandson, Tyler Ray King. Patricia graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1969. Patricia is a member of Greenfield Baptist Church, enjoyed cooking, working with flowers in her garden, and spending time with family and friends. She worked many different jobs in Harrisburg throughout her adult life, but enjoyed none as much as being a wife, a mother and a grandmother. She is survived by her husband, George Wayne King of the home in Cherokee Village, sons: Craig King of Harrisburg, Anthony King also of Harrisburg, Brian (Amy) King of Jonesboro and Joshua (Taylor) King of Harrisburg, daughters: Sherri King of Harrisburg, Olivia (Shaun) Scoggins also of Harrisburg, and Amelia King of Cherokee Village, eight grandchildren: Samantha (Spencer), Anna, Emma, Fiona, Tony Ray, Adyison, Brenten, and Cypress, three great-grandchildren: Kyla, Kenya, and Kamry. Visitation will be Thursday, December 29 from 1:00 until Service Time at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P. M. in the chapel. Cremation will follow the service and at a later date the family will hold an Interment Service at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, Arkansas.
