Obituary for Patricia Carter

Patricia  Carter
Mrs. Patricia Ann Tribble Carter, formerly of Hickory Ridge, departed this life on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at the age of 68. She was born August 9, 1952 in Newport, the daughter of Bill and Nedra (Thompson) Tribble.
Mrs. Carter loved to crochet and cross stitch, and decorate her home. She enjoyed listening to old country music. Without a doubt, the greatest love of her life was her family. She loved to spend time with them.
Mrs. Carter was a member of Southside Church.
She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Rivers Elkins; one brother, Billy Joe Tribble; two sisters, Bertha Wells and Betty Fraley; and her parents.
Mrs. Carter is survived by one daughter, Angela Hunt Lawson and Jennifer Raby of Newport; two brothers, Johnny Tribble and fiancé, Abbie of Hickory Ridge, and George Burnett and wife Peggy of Hickory Ridge; two sisters, Barbara Scarbrough and husband, Jerry, of Jonesboro, and Vicki Bobbitt of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Sandra Thompson, Jordan Lawson and husband, Justin, Hunter Lawson and Sarah, Noah Raby, Seth Raby, and Ashley Browning and husband, Adam; five great-grandchildren, Aiden Dewhitt, Mia Dewhitt, Brooklyn Lawson, Sagan Elkins, and Kian Browning; nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Saturday, December 26, 2020 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Funeral service will be held at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Teddy Rhea officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are George Burnett, Johnny Tribble, Jerry Scarbrough, Hunter Lawson, Noah Raby, and Seth Raby.
