Obituary for Priscilla Ann Ivie

Priscilla Ann  Ivie
Mrs. Priscilla Ann (Galbreath) Ivie of Newport departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the age of 75. She was born October 2, 1946 in Hoxie, the daughter of Ottis and Bernice (Collins) Galbreath.
Mrs. Ivie and her husband, Lawrence, had owned and operated Trier Portable Buildings. She was a Christian. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, going to flea markets, and working in her flowerbeds. She loved taking care of her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Ivie; her second husband, William Dale Rowland; two-step sons, Gary Ivie and Larry Ivie; one brother, Bud Galbreath; five sisters, Anna Sue Galbreath, Norma Sutton, Sharon Galbreath, Lessie Hagar, and Robin Ann Galbreath; and her parents.
Mrs. Ivie is survived by one son, Tony Ivie and wife, Angie, of Tuckerman; one daughter, Becky Shelton and husband, Dewayne, of Newport; six grandchildren, Tyler Shelton, T.J. Ivie, Hannah Shelton, Taylor Ivie, Kristen Ivie, and Ashley Austin; six great grandchildren, Tanner, Owen, Weston, Gavin, Olivia, Layla; special nephew, Jackie Galbreath; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Dewayne Shelton, Tyler Shelton, Taylor Ivie, T. J. Ivie, J. D. Gardner, and Jackie Galbreath.
Graveside services: 2:00 p.m. Monday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, with Brother Jason Sullivan officiating.
