Obituary for Roger Dodd
Mr. Roger Kenneth Dodd of Swifton, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the age of 71. He was born April 24, 1951 at Leavenworth, Kansas, the son of Theodore “Sonny” and Della (Kramer) Dodd.
Mr. Dodd was a retired construction worker, who enjoyed working on lawnmowers, vehicles, and fishing. He was an all around good guy, who loved riding Harley’s and wheeling and dealing with people. Mr. Dodd was a wonderful husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Brenda (Wilson) Dodd; one daughter, Christina (Dodd) Wickham; one brother, Rudy Dodd; and one stepson, Chris Smith.
Mr. Dodd is survived by his wife, Barbara Ellen (Smith) Dodd of Swifton; one son, Roger Dodd, Jr., and wife, Kendra of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Shelly Marie Smith of Swifton; two brothers, Dwain Dodd of Swifton, and Steven Dodd and wife, Melissa of Swifton; two sisters, Glenda Turns and husband, Chuck of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Sandra Eidemiller and husband, Don, of Kansas City, Kansas; nine grandchildren, Lucia Graham, Lucas Graham, Jayden Douglas, Jesse Dodd, Mason Nash, Sierra Dodd, Kadin Dodd, Dylon Harrington, and Cody Mann; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A family led Celebration of Life will be held on January 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Swifton Baptist Church.
