Obituary for Sharon Epley
Mrs. Sharon Diane (Wooley) Epley of Newport, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the age of 71. She was born June 13, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mrs. Epley was a retired CNA, retiring after 40 years of service from Lake City Nursing Home. She attended Restoration Church, and enjoyed cooking and baking. Mrs. Epley especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, and listening to gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Edward Epley; one son, Donald Lee Stout, Jr.; one grandson, Dylan Stout; one sister, Mary Hart; and her parents.
Mrs. Epley is survived by one son, Mark Allan Epley of Osceola; one daughter, Misty Vanhorn and husband, Derrick of Newport; five grandchildren, Brianna Epley, Bethany Webb, Jenna Webb, Dominick Epley, and Jessalyn Epley; one brother, Jimmy Wooley of Waterloo, Illinois; Sandra Monroe of Waterloo, Illinois; and all of her special Cornerstone Girls.
There will be no services at this time.
Arrangements by Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home.
