Sorry to hear the passing of Coach Parnell. He was one of those who had a great positive influence on me and many others during my school years at Newport, as one of my baseball and football coaches and golf coach, as well as an educator/administrator. He was always genuinely interested in my kids
while they were in Newport and he will be missed. There are many great stories I have shared over the years about Coach Parnell with family and friends. RIP Coach Parnell
